The Drew History Project - Spring 2025

Our Project

What is this project about?

We aim to discover why certain majors at Drew are dominated by one gender and if/how it discourages the other gender from entering that field, making it a male or female-dominated workplace. Specifically, how do women feel about male-dominated majors and work fields? Also possibly looking into different generations' perspectives on gender-dominated environments. Our goal is to inform the Drew community about the Gender disparity in certain fields of studies (Majors or Minors) that is prevalent all over the world, even on Drew’s campus.
