The Drew History Project - Spring 2025

Our Mission

Drew’s climate change group strives to educate students on the effects of climate change and how we can make small, personal steps to mitigating our own carbon footprint. We want to emphasize the importance of individual awareness, advocacy, and accountability in making meaningful impacts. We want to ensure these lessons in awareness are shared among our students, and used to push institutions to make meaningful change.

Where Can I Learn?

The first step to change is education. Knowing the current literature and measures towards regulating climate change can help you make informed decisions when advocating for change. Below are a few of our favorite resources to stay up to date!

Below, we have two links that you can use to learn more about climate change.

On the right, it will direct you to go to the NASA site for Kids, and on the left will be the regular NASA site.

Climate Change 101 with Bill Nye

This is a great video by Bill Nye (the science guy!) explaining what climate change is, how it impacts us, and why we should care.

Where I Can Give

There are so many different ways to contribute to climate change advocacy, and one is through donations. The Nature Conservancy is just one of the many research programs working to save our Earth and promote positive change. Click the box below to learn more and contribute to their cause!
