The Center for Academic Excellence
The University Writing Center
The University Writing Center (UWC) offers one-on-one guidance for writing across disciplines at any stage in the writing process to all Drew University students in the College of Liberal Arts, the Caspersen School of Graduate Studies, and the Theological School. Our mission is to support students to ensure their development as readers, critical thinkers, and writers so that they may succeed at Drew and beyond.
Academic Coaching
The CAE and the UWC also offer academic coaching to all students. Academic coaching helps students cultivate general academic skills such as time management, overcoming procrastination, organization, study skills, etc.
CAE support resources are offered at no extra cost to all Drew students, faculty, and staff.
We take pride in collaborating with faculty, staff, and advisors to help you stay on track and meet your academic goals. We value the reciprocal nature of knowledge and promote respect for the diverse talents, beliefs and backgrounds of members of the Drew community, which is at the core of a true liberal arts education.
