Media at the Drew Library: Public Performance Rights

Drew Library makes video and audio available in several formats, for use by students, faculty and staff. This Guide explains the options.

FAQ about Public performance rights

 

  1. Any use of a film outside the classroom or library reserve may require the purchase of public performance rights. Please contact Student Activities at 973-408-3924 or email stuactiv@drew.edu for information. 
  2. The Library does not include public performance rights in its purchase of DVDs.   
  3. Films licensed from Swank do NOT include public performance rights.  Contact student activities and indicate that it is a Swank film. 
  4. Films licensed by Kanopy  and Academic Video Online MAY include public performance rights. Check each film or email liborders@drew.edu for assistance.
