Dear Readers:
Many of our student employees start working for the library in their first semester and stay on until graduation. It's so hard to say goodbye! This year we're honoring the Class of 2022 with a new tradition. We thought it apropos that our graduating student employees be given an opportunity to "leave their mark" in the Library.
Let me assure you gentle readers that the Library building nor its contents will be defaced. We will honor our students with placement of a specially designed bookplate, in a book of their choice. Bookplates are one way for the library to honor their dedication and commitment. The student's name, school and graduation year will be added to the bookplate before placement.
When set up, searchers will be able to find our students' book choices in the Library catalog by simply searching for their name (in quotes). Be sure to look in the "Notes" section of the catalog entry to see the Book Dedication. It’s our way of thanking our wonderful student employees for their hard work and dedication to Drew Library.
This year, we say goodbye and thank you to six CLA students: Tessa Bagby, Christina Beviano, Jalyssa Matos, Emme Sadlo, Becca Safi, and Elena St. Amour. Thank you and good luck to our graduates! Keep in touch.
