New Browzine feature helps scholars keep current

by Margery Ashmun on 2023-01-12T09:14:00-05:00 | 0 Comments

Dear readers:

If you have difficulty keeping current with the literature in a subject area you care about, Browzine has a new feature that may be right for you, namely: email notifications when new articles are published in journals you follow.

How does it work?

  1. Current Drew students and faculty:  go to Drew LIbrary's Browzine link,
  2. Create a free account using your Drew email,
  3. Add the journals you care about to your Browzine "bookshelf" from the lists provided. Please go to this link for more info about using the "bookshelf" feature.
  4. Then click "settings" (gear symbol in upper right corner of the webpage) and select "email notifications"
  5. Choose how often to receive notifications, e.g daily or weekly
  6. Sit back and wait to receive emails
  7. After receiving an email, use the "Read Now" button next to each journal title to go directly to that journal and the new content.
  8. Browzine makes it easy to stay up to date!

Still not sure how to use this feature? Please go to this link for more information from Browzine.

BrowZine is also available as an app for your mobile device. Download the BrowZine app for iOS or Android at this link. Note: The email notifications will not send you to the app when you're on your device, but will send you to BrowZine.com.
