The Library of Congress archives include manuscript material, audio, images, and video on a wide variety of topics-- including dance and dancers.

This guide, created by the Library of Congress, was created to assist online patrons conducting dance research within the LOC's digital collections.

While largely known as a series of museums, the Smithsonian also includes a number of libraries, specializing in topics as wide in scope as the museums. The digital collections, and what is available online, is constantly expanding.

Started in 2003, StoryCorps is an ongoing oral history project. Recordings are collected in the U.S. Library of Congress American Folklife Center, and the entire archive is available online.

Per the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's website, the museum "is America’s national institution for the documentation, study, and interpretation of Holocaust history, and serves as this country’s memorial to the millions of people murdered during the Holocaust." Many research resources are available online, including oral histories.
