Obtaining a Madison Public Library Card

Drew University Students, Faculty, and Staff are eligible for a free Library Card from the Madison Public Library. Cardholders are welcome to borrow books from Madison Public Library and use digital Library Services, including

  • Libby (Magazines, ebooks and audiobooks)
  • Hoopla (audio books, comics, e-books, movies, music, and TV)
  • Kanopy (Movies and TV)
  • Wall Street Journal

To get a free Library Card, please follow the below steps:

Undergraduate and Graduate Students

  • Please stop in to the Madison Public Library or email Corinne Bowen (corinne.bowen@madison.mainlib.org) or circ-mad@mainlib.org with a scan of your Drew ID and a copy of your current class schedule. A student library card is valid for one year and may be renewed upon proof of continuing enrollment. 

Faculty/Staff

  • Please stop in to the Madison Public Library or email Corinne Bowen (corinne.bowen@madison.mainlib.org) or circ-mad@mainlib.org with a scan of your Drew ID and proof of employment. Courtesy cards are valid for one year and are renewed upon proof of continuing employment.
