Mind Maps

Credo Reference is a database containing encyclopedias, dictionaries, quotation books, and more! It's a great starting point for your research to gain background information to work off of. It also has a Mind Map tool that is especially helpful for determining your topic. A mind map is a diagram that illustrates the relationships between concepts or ideas.

There are a few different ways to use Mind Maps on Credo Reference. They will appear on most (but not all) search result pages. You can also create a Mind Map using the drop-down menu to the left of the logo at the top of the page or by clicking the Mind Map button on the home page.

Chatmind is chat-guided mind mapping powered by GPT4. By "conversing" with the AI chatbot, you can create incredible mind maps to help you discover a topic to research further. Chatmind is initially free to use, but once you use up all of the free trial credits, you will need to pay to continue to utilize the program.
