SOC 101: Introduction to Sociology: Finding Contexts Articles

Searching for an Article by Subject

Your Contexts "In Brief" and your original article will help identify useful keywords for searching.  Using ScholarSearch's Advanced Search, put keywords in the search boxes, separating them by the concept they describe:

race OR racis* OR "african american*"

AND

"job seeking"

AND

network*

Finding Full Text

Often an article isn't in the specific database you're using, but Drew has it in another resource.  To find it, click on "Find it @Drew."

Sometimes the link will only take you to another database, without linking to the specific article.  Stay in that database, and try searching by author and/or keywords from the title of the article.
