"Operation Americas" got decent coverage in English and Spanish newspapers before, during, and after the trip. Some of the crew members even wrote their own articles. Colin, for example, wrote multiple articles for The Christchurch Star, and Dan wrote an article for World Campus. The Duck Diaries Collection contains many such newspaper clippings and articles, as well as some typewritten (rough) drafts. Aside from print media, Operation Americas was featured on the Today Show and multiple local news channels.
