Working at Drew Library

Thank you for your interest in working at Drew Library. The Library has occasional job openings, but we have many returning students year after year who fill over 40 jobs in 9 Library Departments.   We would be happy to accept your application and keep it on file if there are no current openings. Think you'd like to work in the Library? Read on....

The Library is seeking to hire students who are hard working, dependable,  and enthusiastic-- but there are other requirements stipulated by University Policy that we need to consider too.  See below for background:

University Policy

“There are two types of on-campus student employment: The Federal Work-Study Program (FWSP) and regular student employment (non Work-Study). Federal Work-Study awards are based on financial need and will be included in the financial aid awards of those students who qualify. All student employment positions on campus are competitive. Priority in hiring will be given to students who have a Federal Work-Study award.

In addition to the above, the Library also considers students' class (i.e. first year, second year, etc), work experience, skills and availability.
