Working at Drew Library

Thank you for your interest in working at Drew Library. The Library has occasional job openings, but we have many returning students year after year who fill over 40 jobs in 9 Library Departments.   Please go Launch's on-campus employment site or to Drew's Handshake site to view any current job openings. This is where all on-campus jobs should be posted and is updated regularly. If you haven't already done so, you will need to create an account on Handshake using your Drew email.

Think you may be interested in working at the Library? Read on....the Library seeks to hire students who are hard working, dependable,  and enthusiastic-- but there are other requirements stipulated by University Policy that we need to consider too.  See below for background:

University Policy

“There are two types of on-campus student employment: The Federal Work-Study Program (FWSP) and regular student employment (non Work-Study). Federal Work-Study awards are based on financial need and will be included in the financial aid awards of those students who qualify. All student employment positions on campus are competitive. Priority in hiring will be given to students who have a Federal Work-Study award.

In addition to the above, the Library also considers students' class (i.e. first year, second year, etc), work experience, skills and availability.
